Thomas Webber Beheaded - It was a deliberate suicide

January 6, 1898. Pittsburgh PA.

Thomas Webber left a letter explaining why he was tired of life - had been a failure and was thoroughly discouraged.
He placed his chin on the tracks at Eleventh Street and was run over by a Fort Wayne railroad  His act was witnessed by the crew.
Webber lived with William Reed at 152 Elm Street.
