Verdict of Accidental Death
Coroner Heber McDowell conducted an inquest this morning in the case of E. A. Schellman, of Shady Avenue, Allegheny, a watchman at the Bijou theater, who thought he was competent to ride his son's bicycle. The old gentleman mounted the bicycle last Thursday, and his feet got mixed up in the wheels. He received a bad fall, sustaining a broken collar bone and internal injuries that resulted in his death. A verdict of accidental death was returned.
