Mrs. Emeline Roab, of Reading, PA, sued Michael Feick to recover her hausteuer or wedding outfit.
In the trial, it was proven that she had been promised a wedding outfit when she came of age or was married.
After hearing the evidence, the jury placed a value of $125 upon her hausteuer and rendered a verdict in her favor for that amount
